Setting correctly your API is a must to have real time information, but it is important to do it in a secure way, with ideally only read-only API Keys.
You’ll find here some guidance for the most popular exchanges.
Binance
- Open the Binance API page
- Create a new API key by entering a label, such as ‘BMiner‘, and clicking the Create New Key button
- If applicable, enter your two-factor authentication code
- Copy the API Key and Secret below
- RECOMMENDED Disable trading access for this API key:
- Click the Edit button
- Disable the Enable Trading permission
- Click Save
- If applicable, enter your two-factor authentication code
Bittrex
To add your Bittrex account to BMiner, follow these steps:
- Open the Bittrex API Keys page
- Click the Add new key… button
- Enable the READ INFO permission for the new key
- Click Save
- If applicable, enter your two-factor authentication code
- Copy the Key and Secret
Cryptopia
To add your Cryptopia account to BMiner, follow these steps:
- Open the Cryptopia Security page
- If applicable, enter your two-factor pin code
- In the Api Settings section:
- Select the Enable API checkbox
- Click on New Key
- Click the Save Changes button
- Copy the Api Key and Api Secret
GDAX
To add your GDAX account to BMiner, follow these steps:
- Open the GDAX API Keys page
- Under Permissions select View
- Click Create API Key
- Copy the Passphrase, API Key, and API Secret
Huobi
To add your Huobi account to BMiner, follow these steps:
- Open the Huobi API Management page
- Enter a note of your choice and click the Create button
- Enter your two-factor authentication code
- Copy the Access Key and Private Key
Kraken
To add your Kraken account to BMiner, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Kraken and log in
- Navigate to Settings -> API
- Click the Generate New Key button
- Enable the following permissions:
- Query Funds
- Query Closed Orders & Trades
- Query Ledger Entries
- Click the Generate Key button
- Copy the API Key and Private Key
Poloniex
To add your Poloniex account to BMiner, follow these steps:
- Open the Poloniex API Keys page
- Click the Create New Key button
- If applicable, enter your two-factor authentication code
- Confirm the new API key from the verification email you receive from Poloniex
- Back on the API Keys page, deselect the Enable Tradingcheckbox of the new API key
- Copy the API Key and Secret
